School of International Biodesign-Synergising Healthcare Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SIB-SHInE) is an exciting year-long full time dedicated residential fellowship program jointly led by the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) and King George’s Medical University Lucknow (KGMU Lucknow) and sponsored by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India.
The SIB-SHInE Biodesign program serves as a springboard for launching, redirecting, or accelerating a career in health technology and biomedical innovation

Startup Gateway for Garbage Free Cities 2.0

Startup Incubation & Innovation Center, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur has launched Startup Gateway for Garbage Free Cities 2.0 with the support of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. The program is aimed at nurturing the emerging startup ecosystem of India in the waste to value sector. The program nurtures startups by providing funding, essential mentorship, access to state-of-the-art laboratories, and valuable business and investor connections. Through this program, startups are connected with corporates and urban local bodies, enabling them to directly implement their solutions in real-world scenarios.

Cleantech Innovation Challenge 2022
Northern Coalfields Limited in association with NCL – IIT (BHU) Incubation Center, IIT (BHU) has launched the pan India grand challenge ‘Cleantech Innovation Challenge-2022’ in March 2022 which is a nationwide initiative to provide students, start-ups, and innovators a supportive eco-system and a platform to solve real-world problems that are faced by Indian industries, especially the mining industry and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem-solving.

Subhash Chandra Bose Biotechnology Incubation Centre is a phase I of Chhattisgarh Biotechnology Park Project. It is established in joint collaboration of Department of Biotechnology, Government of India and Department of Agriculture, Farmer Welfare & Biotechnology, Government of Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh Biotechnology Promotion Society (CBPS) is the nodal and implementing agency and Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (IGKV) is the technical partner for S C Bose Biotechnology Incubation Centre.

Chhattisgarh Biotechnology Promotion Society (CBPS) under Department of Agriculture, Farmer Welfare and Biotechnology, Government of Chhattisgarh is a society registered in Firms and Societies Act. The Minister of Department of Agriculture, Farmer Welfare and Biotechnology, Government of Chhattisgarh, heads the high powered Governing Council of CBPS. The council includes higher officials from state Government departments, eminent persons from knowledge and Technology sectors, representative from Government of India and national agencies.
The Objective of the Society is to foster overall growth of biotechnology in terms of R&D, infrastructure development as Biotechnology Park, Human resource Development, promotion of community based biotech applications and entrepreneurship development in Chhattisgarh.
